Third Grade
Teacher: Mrs. Saylor
Can you pick out which urchin is me? Leave your guesses in the comments (no cheating by family members, please) and I'll post the answer tomorrow.
(Oops. Guess giving you something better than a raisin to compare to would help!)
Bottom left? Bearing in mind that I have rubbish eyesight and it doesn't help that you've replaced the photo of yourself with a raisin!!! :)
ReplyDeleteHmmm. Eeny, meeny, miny, mo.... close eyes and poke laptop screen - oh no, that's a man, try again...
ReplyDeleteBack row, 3rd child from the left? (I have no idea... there are no raisins in this picture) x
I vote right in the middle with the dog on your lap.
ReplyDelete(How come there were no dogs in my third grade class?)
As I always choose the one that everyone says is nothing like, I've gone for the 4th from right in the 2nd row. I know, I know!
ReplyDelete3rd row, 4th from the right...
ReplyDeleteGotta be top row, second from the left.
ReplyDeleteI also vote the one with the dog. I have a hard enough time trying to pick out myself in the first grade! I love old pictures.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't even begin to guess because I always get these sort of things wrong!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking of a number between 1 and 30. If you can guess it on your first try I'll tell you which one is you.
ReplyDeleteTop, second girl from teacher on left, Ms, well I forgot her name already...
ReplyDeletesuch cuties!
ReplyDeleteAre you the second from the left, top row?
I'm clueless...but I love old photos like that!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking you're the cutie with the dog in your lap.
ReplyDeleteTop row, one off the end... Hadn't invented black kids yet? I went to a school like that....
ReplyDeleteI think you're the boy smack dab in the middle in the black. . .
ReplyDeleteAm I right?????
I also guessed the front middle. But I thought it was a baby goat you were holding. Weird, I know...
ReplyDeleteBack row, 2nd girl on left
ReplyDeleteSmack in the center? First row?
ReplyDeleteCrap, I can't tell on this tiny offing screen!
ReplyDeleteMy guess would be top row, second from left :)
ReplyDeleteOh, my gosh. I hated class pictures. I remember one time in 5th grade, I had completely forgotten that it was 'class picture day' and I showed up to school wearing checkered pants and a horizontal striped shirt.
ReplyDeleteWhen I found out it was picture day, I asked my teacher if I could go home and change into better clothes.
To this day, I can't believe the fashion epiphany I had at age 10, thinking I didn't look good enough for the picture. Not to mention I left home without doing a twirl in front of the mirror to ensure I was fashionably acceptable.
I'll have to dig up that picture and make a blog post about it. The color and pattern contrasts didn't look so awkward for 1981, but I think it was the red Snoopy watch I was wearing that really set it off.
What kind of sturdy material were cone bras made of?
