A couple of weeks back I posted some simple tests to help you understand how well you read other people's expressions. Since everyone seemed to enjoy them, today I thought we'd do some tests to help you understand whether the right or left side of your brain is dominant.
This one's a quickie.
And here's another, slightly longer, one: http://www.web-us.com/BRAIN/braindominance.htm
If you care to, leave your results in the comment section and we'll get a sense of whether the right- or left-brained are more likely to read the Raisin Chonicles.
I'm a freak. I couldn't get her to go anti-clockwise. I could only see her going clockwise.
ReplyDeleteRight on the second one as well.
ReplyDeleteLeft on the first one (which surprised me) ... Right on the second one.
ReplyDeleteRIGHT - no surprise there. My IQ test said I had very low logic abilities .....
ReplyDeleteRight brain all the way which goes to prove Right makes Right! Viva la revolution!
ReplyDeleteLeft on the first one ... Right on the second one. does that mean I am well balanced? That will be a relief to my family...
ReplyDeleteWell, the first one kept changing from clockwise to counter clockwise. The second one right. So does this mean I'm perfect?? :)
ReplyDeleteI am a lefty on the first one..
ReplyDeleteI am a righty on the second one...
Pretty cool, enjoyed it :-)
Wait... is that why
I can Never make up my mind? ;-}
That is COOL!
ReplyDeleteRight brain for the first. Surprised that the article says most would see it anti-clockwise. Hm. Right brain for the second as well- 13 right, 5 left. Very interesting!
Gonna steal these for my blog. Will link you, of course!
Damn. I've gone cross eyed...
ReplyDeleteOh. It was an Aussie newspaper. So, obviously I'm homesick and can't do the test...yeah...that'd be it.
Very cool test.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
That was fun! I am right brain, however on the second test only slightly.
ReplyDeleteI'm totally right! ;) Brained, that is!
ReplyDeleteI would like everyone to know that I was the model for that spinning babe. She's hot!
ReplyDeleteI thought it correct word is counter clockwise.
I did see her going both ways.
The spinning girl was rotating clockwise at first and then counter clock wise after I asked her to.
ReplyDeleteThe second test: I scored right brain 12 left brain 6.
Am I going to die? You can tell me. But I guess you'll have to draw me a picture. If you write it out for me, I won't catch the details, but I'll feel it.
I just am thinking of the song from Oz "If I only had a brain"...feelin like the scare crow lately...I know a tin man who needs to pay a visit for their missing heart :)
ReplyDeleteA professor told me once you can tell a right brain person from a left brain before they ever answer a question you ask...right brainers look up when they are trying to think of an answer, some sort of creative signal...
I am right-brained but if I concentrated I could make her go the opposite way. Interesting. So now I am right-handed, left-eyed, and right-brained. Not too confusing right?
ReplyDeleteHi Jeanne I am definitely righ-brained.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to let you know that none of the art in my blog is mine. I write, but don't do any art.
I wish. I did a post on February 4the entitled art heist and you can hear my explanation there.
I am so glad you dropped in and now I get to see your blog.
I like the raisin analogy.

I'm a righter...strange, my epilepsy is left temporal lobe so for some reason I expect that side of my brain to be dominant, just because it seems to be most active I guess.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, both tests said right for me.
Right on the first one (and I can't flip it).
ReplyDeleteI got right on the second one, too, but only 11-7 so that's not very strong.
P.S. I've always said I make a lot of lists because without them I'm hopeless :p
ReplyDeleteI am the most left-handed person you ever met...Guess?
ReplyDeleteright brained on both accounts, I got a 17 out of 18 on the quiz.
ReplyDeleteBut I'm going to say the first quiz shouldn't count because after reading the statement I looked back and she was going anti-clockwise. Weird.
righty right righstein, that is what I am
ReplyDeleteRight..but after some time which seemed like forever I could use my left brain..but not for very long before the right took over again! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm right-brained! And loving it.
ReplyDeleteRight brained.
ReplyDeleteI gosh. I saw lady in the buff turn counter counter-clockwise, looked away, then looked back and she was turning the other way.
ReplyDeleteUghh, science will never figure me out. (And I like it!)
