What the Earthquake in Japan Tells Us

That we're on a planet that was once a ball of molten rock and is still cooling. I heard on the radio today that the governor of the Tokyo prefecture (or some such thing) says the quake and tsunami are divine retribution because people in Japan are so selfish and materialistic. But that can't be true, because, if it were, Wall Street would be a freaking crater by now.

  1. I cannot believe all the statements coming out like this...like people in Japan must have sinned and need to be destroyed...and the comics who are making jokes that are so inhuman...did I come from this world?

  4. Unfortunately, many people said similar things when the earthquake happened in Haiti...some people just put too much power in the hands of 'god'...very sad when victims have suffered so much loss already...why do this to them also... people really can be cruel...almost as cruel as nature is sometimes...but at least nature does not do it intentionally...

  5. I just cannot wrap my brain around some of the very mean and negative comments made to our Japanese friends.

They are just folks like you and I who began an ordinary day and then tragedy turned their world upside down.

Where is the love and compassion???

God bless and have a beautiful day ya'll!!! :o)
