Chronicles of a Rescue Dog, Part 8: School Days

Kai returns from boarding school on Sunday, February 24th.

Check back next week for an update!

In the meantime, here are some pix the K9 guy sent me:

The text that came with the pictures said: "He loves it when I chase him."

Good to know he's not pining away...

  1. Thank you so much for being an awesome doggy mom and staying committed to Kai having a good life. We rescued a dog six months ago who we thought was a mid-size adult; turns out she was a half-grown shepherd pup with everything that brings. There were many days between her first and second vet visit where we learned how much more she weighed without changing shape, and realized how young she really was, when we wondered if we'd completely blown it by bringing her home. Thank the gods for professional dog trainers!

  2. The only thing that worries me about the text comment is that Kai should not be running away! Another bad habit forming. Better if they are playing bow and chase without nipping. Kai is so handsome. He definitely needs a job. Buy a tennis ball cannon for sure.

  3. We hope Kai had a wonderful time at school. We just love the lovely photos they sent you. Very cute sitting on the couch. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful weekend.
